Business Process Analysis
Most companies think of business process analysis as a tool that is used in conjunction with the implementation of a new ERP, CRM, or Supply Chain system. What is overlooked at other times is the need to step back and say ”How am I doing business?” Do I have the proper controls in place? Are my systems and processes documented? Do I have a formal process in place to monitor and control costs? Do my employees have a written job description so they will know exactly what is expected of them and where they fit in the overall business process? There are numerous areas to look at that can bring increased overall efficiency while not being tied to a major systems change.
